Why go?

The Joburg Open has been part of the South African summer since 2007, with winners including Charl Schwartzel, twice, and Dan Bradbury, who won it for the second time in 2026. In 2027 it closes the South African swing, the week after the SA Open.

It returns to Randpark Golf Club, which has hosted the Joburg Open three times and the SA Open twice. The championship Firethorn course was rebuilt in 2015. It is a parkland test with a stream in play on several holes and a strong finish from the 16th.

Johannesburg sits about 1,750 metres above sea level, so the ball flies noticeably further than at home. Expect low scores, and enjoy the extra yards when you play yourself.

What we take care of

  • A hotel in Sandton or Rosebank, chosen to suit your group.
  • Transfers from OR Tambo International and to the course on tournament days.
  • Your own rounds at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington, Glendower, Blair Atholl and River Club.
  • A Sun City or Kruger extension, including internal flights if you need them.
  • Advice on which tournament days to choose, and a plan built around them.
  • A host with your group from arrival to departure, and support around the clock.
