Meet the Hosts

Together, Bryce, David, Josh, Tony and Lorraine combine unmatched expertise in hospitality, personalized service, and world-class golf travel. With decades of experience and a passion for showcasing Southern Africa’s finest courses, wine estates, and wildlife, they craft bespoke golf tours where every swing offers breathtaking views and every moment is designed to be unforgettable.

Born into a golfing family, with my father Peter designing over 30 courses in Southern Africa, my stepfather Simon Hobday winning the SA and US Senior Opens, and Gary Player as my godfather, the game has shaped my life from the start. I played junior and college golf at NC State, and for the past 25 years have worked in the golf industry, specialising in estate development and directing South Africa’s largest golf course maintenance business. A passionate golfer and proud African, I’ve travelled the world playing the greats — from all Open venues to over 10 US Open and PGA courses — always driven by a love for the game, its courses, and its people.

Tony Matkovich

Josh is a seasoned traveler with a global perspective and a natural talent for connecting with people. With several years of experience in sales, he brings strong communication skills and a personable approach to every interaction.

Bryce is an experienced businessman with a specific focus on the hospitality and logistics industries. He excels at executing effective ground logistics, which ensures that our tours run seamlessly.

With over 25 years in the financial markets, I built global relationships across institutional investors while travelling extensively. Alongside this, I’ve had a lifelong passion for golf and now focus on merging business insight with the sports growth and marketing potential in South Africa.

David Whitby

Lol is an avid golfer and has been trying to perfect the game for years. Hosting groups of ladies is in her DNA and she takes care of our lady bookings from start to finish to ensure they get to experience the best of Africa from a ladies perspective. She is an experienced sales person with a team spirit and “can do” attitude.
